Outreach in Calgary

Over this past year we had a few people pass away whom we were fighting for in the spirit. One Sunday it was bothering me and I was asking God what I need to do to see people saved physically and spiritually. We need to see a move of God in this city and in this country. And then the Holy Spirit reminded me that when God's people move there is a move of God. We needed to move! Enough was enough, it was time to kick in the gates of hell! Therefore, our outreach ministry was born.

"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." - Matthew 16:18-19

Every Saturday afternoon, a group of us go out and minister to people in the city of Calgary. Sometimes we bring items to give to those in need and other times we go without anything in hand. But we always go with the intention to deliver people from sickness, disease, pain, and demonic possession. We don't go only to deliver them but to disciple them. We intend to develop authentic relationships with people in order to help them not only in body but also in their soul and spirit. We set out to deliver them from bondage, make them disciples of Jesus Christ, and equip them to start "fishing" or discipling others.

"And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." - Matthew 4:19

In one of our recent outreach missions we had a woman ask us to help her get rid of 10 demonic spirits living in her. She knew what their names were, and she knew where they came from but she couldn't get rid of them. One of our group members jumped right in and began to command the demonic spirits to leave. As this was happening, the woman began vomiting up the spirits. She began to feel more free as each left her. A few were more stubborn and began to prevent her from praising the name of Jesus. We continued to command the demons to leave her and release her to speak again. She soon after could speak and praise the name of Jesus. She was completely free and filled with joy! Go Jesus!! We hope to see her again soon and continue to speak the promises of God into her life.
