Mind Renewal Seminar in Calgary, Ab
The ONLY way to life transformation is through the renewing of our minds! Yet, a vast majority of Christians are led to believe that their lives can be changed by prayer, by fasting, or by receiving a "blessing" from a "man of God." In this training seminar, we reveal not only the truth and the command to renew your mind but also train you on HOW to renew your mind in every area of your life.
Romans 12:2 KJV - "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
At JGLM Canada, our desire is to bring the truth of the Gospel to set the "Christian captives" free. Our desire is to see the body of Christ walking as true son's of God in total freedom, total victory and for Christ to receive everything He paid for. We believe that the Christian Mission is to: Love God in thought, word, and deed and to love your neighbor as yourself, which is practiced by doing unto them as you would have done unto you. Your love for God and man will be demonstrated by going and reproducing disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, by every Biblical method.
How to Renew your mind
The Mind Renewal conference in Calgary was powerful. Many people who attended were freed from religious bondage that weekend. The event was held in a community hall in Erinwoods, which had a church group that regularly met in the basement. The message from the Mind Renewal conference was so good that the church members began leaving their meeting downstairs to join ours! The Pastor of that congregation even joined our meeting and bought a few of our materials! Praise God! We were more than happy to make room for them to join us!
Many of the people who were freed from religious bondage were wondering where this teaching had been and why it wasn't being taught in their churches! You could see and feel the excitement that people felt, as they learned how to renew their mind to the Word of God and how to walk in that renewed mind.
Galatians 4:3 KJV - "Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world"

Testimony time!! We love testimonies! Why? Because testimonies glorify our Heavenly Father and encourage the saints! We're so excited to share some with you!
John 15:8 KJV — "Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples."
"On one of the breaks, me and my friend went outside. There was a school across the field from the community hall that the conference was being held at. Outside of the school there were some young kids around our age that were smoking, and we decided to go and minister to them. When we first got there I was a bit nervous because these kids were giving us a very unpleasant look. We said that we were there to tell the kids who were smoking about Jesus Christ, to get them saved and if they had any pain in their bodies we would pray for them and the pain would leave. Most of the kids were looking at us funny, and being rude. But one of the girls there did allow us to pray for her, after she challenged us with a few questions about God. She was addicted to drugs and she wanted to stop but felt like she couldn't. My friend prayed for her and commanded the addiction to leave and she thanked him for praying for her. Another girl there was asking more questions about God, and asked us why we were there offering prayer. We said that we care about them and don't want them to go to hell. She then began to cry and shared that her parents were Christian but very rude to her and that was why she was against Christianity. Many of the other kids were in the same situation. When we shared that we cared about them, it made her cry to hear that someone cared about her. She did come and join us at the conference afterwards but unfortunately didn't stay until the end."
1 Timothy 4:12 KJV - "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in faith, in purity." "If you think with the carnal mind, you will operate out of the flesh. If you think with the Mind of Christ, you will operate out of the Spirit. When you operate out of the Spirit, you will always be victorious. - Pastor Marty Nystrom. This has helped me in my walk with God because I know that we are to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. When I take every thought captive and think with the Mind of Christ, I operate in the Spirit; and when I operate in the Spirit, I am victorious. Mind renewal is the process of learning to think with the Mind of Christ." 2 Corinthians 10:5 - "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" "What you say matters. Your mind is renewed to the Word of God to the degree that the Word of God dictates your daily actions. If you want to change your life, change your tongue. A key part to renewing your mind to the Word of God is to change your mouth, and not say anything contrary to the Word of God. It was a very good reminder for me on how important it is to watch what we say, because words have power." Proverbs 18:21 - "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."
Testimonies from children
Praise the Lord! These testimonies above are all from youth. God will use whoever is willing, and trust us when we say that these kids are willing and DO NOT have a junior Holy Spirit! We are so looking forward to the amazing works of God coming forth from their lives. These are just a few testimonies that came in. Many other people commented on how the message changed them and we also had a few healing testimonies! There was so much growth, connections made and bondage broken! We are so thankful to everyone who helped set everything up and for everyone who was in attendance! We will be back in the future to host another conference in the city of Calgary and we look forward to seeing you there!
