JGLM Youth Group
What an exciting ministry to be a part of. Youth Ministry is typically geared towards a specific age range of youth, this one being 12-15 years old! Pouring into the lives of these incredible youngsters, who are ready to learn and get involved in the things of God.
Our vision behind the Youth Group is to teach teenagers about their identity in Christ Jesus, as that is the main area the enemy attacks the youth of today. Also to equip them with tools that they need to stand against the schemes & plans of the enemy.
Jason and Veena, two of our Calgary Lifeteam Leaders, have always had a heart for children & teens. They’ve worked with the young in different settings for many years. When God spoke to them about starting up a Youth group, it made so much sense to them, so they ran with it!
But first, what are Lifeteams you might be wondering? LifeTeams are weekly meetings held in believer’s homes that include: fellowship, worship, Bible teaching, prayer, and outreach opportunities, all with the message of hope, healing, and victory that has characterized John G. Lake Ministries.

In February, 2021 JGLM Youth Group Calgary was launched! The youth came excited, ready to learn and to get involved. They had so many questions about different parts of the Bible. We were able to answer those questions. A couple of the teens came to us at the end of the night said that they had learnt so much already.
They are all eagerly awaiting for their next meeting together. We are honoured to serve the Youth in the Calgary area.
