Is and has the church conformed to the world system?
The church is social distancing, wearing masks, and living in fear, but guising it as "wisdom." The Word of God talks about two types of wisdom. So, when most people are saying use “wisdom” these days, it is man’s wisdom, not God’s wisdom.
James 3:13-18
"13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace."
You can see from Scripture there are only two types of wisdom. Man’s wisdom is devilish therefore full of fear and doubt. God’s wisdom is pure, peaceable, gentle, full of mercy, full of good fruits and has no shadow of hypocrisy. Man’s wisdom says run and hide, and God’s wisdom says lay hand on the sick and they shall recover (Mark 16:18). Notice, God's Wisdom makes peace not chaos. Most Christians have not renewed their minds to the Word of God. Therefore, following the world system is natural because they are thinking with the natural mind, and not with the Mind of Christ.
1 Corinthians 2:16
"16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ."
For the most part, church has become a social club. A place to hang out to get good vibes and a motivational, non-confrontational, non-offensive and politically correct message, rather than a training center that is equipping the saints for the work of the ministry. Most preachers these days seem to preach from a place of fear of man rather than a fear of God.
Proverbs 9:10
"10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding."
Ephesians 4:11-13
"11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ."
The churches should be training centers not social clubs and the five-fold ministry should be leading people into battle not from it. The church would rather fill seats than offend with the truth of the Word of God. The church would rather conform to the world system rather than stand up and fight for God. The church has replaced power with popularity. Instead of inviting people in to be healed and set free, many are being told to stay home, protect yourself, and be safe. Jesus never said go home and be safe. He said be healed, and they were. Jesus always went towards the battle not from it.
Most churches have preached a false, watered down gospel and with that type of preaching you cannot live by truth because you have not learned truth. The truth is Jesus said, do not be afraid and do not let your hearts be troubled. Jesus said lay hands on the sick and they shall recover and yet we having churches closing and even staying closed for safety concerns. Folks, that is fear plain and simple. God is looking for the remnant not the pew warmers. He is looking for warriors, not wimps.
Will you answer the battle cry? This could be the finest hour for the church to shine and to show the world who Jesus really is, but I am concerned the church is failing and just conforming.
