We are very happy and blessed to announce we now have a Dominion Life Church in Vancouver, BC. Planting churches is one of our greatest desires for Canada. Even though truth is out there the devil has blinded the eyes of most Christians and he has done it through false teaching.
If you are new here, welcome! Here's a little bit about JGLM Canada and it's overseers. Marty and Brigitte have been involved with churches and ministry for over 24 years. The majority of those years were lived in religious bondage. They were ever learning but never coming to a knowledge of the truth. Although being involved in part time ministry and doing some traveling Marty and Brigitte always felt a deep call to full time ministry. The General Overseer of John G. Lake Ministries Curry R. Blake is recognized around the world as a leading authority on Divine Healing, Charismatic Church History, and the life and ministry of John G. Lake. After hearing the true gospel preached from Brother Curry, they started practicing the truth they had learned and building a relationship with JGLM. As the overseers of JGLM Canada Marty and Brigitte travel and bring the truth of the Gospel to set the "Christian captives" free.
Opening churches is not difficult but doing it with the right people who have a heart for God, a heart for people, right motive and preach the true Gospel is the recipe that makes it function as a church should.
We have zero desire to plant social clubs!
We are excited to be working with Allan, Marlene, and their daughter Jessie. They see the power of God in action on a regular basis and have a heart and desire to see people healed, set free and come into a knowledge of the truth.
We officially announced on January 22 while we were there teaching on Kingdom Finance and Spiritual Warfare. They are blessed with a great team of people who will work together to grow the church in Vancouver.
Dominion Life Ministries
A word From Allan, Marlene, and Jessie.
Dominion Life Vancouver is a major answer to prayer and the fulfillment of something that God showed us years ago! When Jessie was a very little girl, we all attended a healing service where we met the person who introduced us to the JGLM message. There, Jessie heard from God that we were supposed to have a Church. When we went home, she set up her own "Church" in the backyard complete with kiddie chairs and a pulpit made from a plant pot! When we heard the JGLM message we realized it is the truth of God’s Word and started seeing testimonies when ministering to people, feeding the homeless, and training others.
Through many prayers our LifeTeams have grown, and God kept reminding Jessie of her first “backyard preaching” and the vision of the Church. We were praying for a central location that people could come for ministry, healing, discipleship, and training as well as an outreach location to serve, feed, and clothe more people who are homeless or otherwise in need. Last Spring, our goals were to conduct bigger tent meetings in the park, have a ministry van, and more than ever we wanted to open a Church in this time that many Churches are closed. Over the summer the outreaches grew in the parks as we obtained a tent and mobile pulpit. We had many incredible experiences with our ministry van travelling around our Province ministering to and connecting people.
One of our team members connected us with this beautiful Church space. When we stepped in the door, we realized this was God’s answer! Amazingly enough, the Church is less than 4 city blocks from where we originally were led to this message and received the vision from God! We now have services and outreaches weekly, are seeing wonderful testimonies, and look forward to all the great plans God has!
We are so thankful to Curry for bringing out the truth of God’s Word and sharing it around the world for people to pick up and run with in expanding the Kingdom together! We thank everyone for standing with us, and words cannot describe our thankfulness to God for everything!
